In the foreground, Cadmus slays the prodigious serpent (beyond him his descendants struggle in internecine strife), Actaeon catches Diana unawares and gets turned into a stag; Semele is blown to smitherines (upper right), Tiresias wanders blindly (left center), Bacchus overwhelms the pirates' ship with vines, all under Minerva's watchful eye. Echo & Narcissus (3.339-510), a key narrative in Met. 3, is hard to discern (center left).

Lady Hamilton was depicted as Ariadne with some frequency. Cf. G. Romney's handful of paintings (e.g. "Lady Hamilton Abandoned" and those of other contemporaries.
