Feodora von Gleichen, "Diana the Huntress," or (Diana Fountain), Hyde Park, London (Rose Garden near Hyde Park Corner), before 1906.

The goddess' overt nudity is characteristic (or at least not uncommon) of Edwardian depictions. Especially after Saint-Gaudens' "Diana" used as weathervane atop New York City's Madison Square Garden (1891, 1895-1925), the virginal goddess appears in this state of undress. Perhaps this depiction empowers her more fully as a defender of chastity, a "personification of virtue triumphing over vice".
