Casanova's collective work involves only a few sculptures named after classical mythological figures. I count only six in a collected catalog of seventy-two total works. Casanova was working on a "Centaur" in 2002. At least three bacchantes were made before 2002, and a "Gaia". Various representations called "Ritual Object" as well as "Scarab", "Sea Emblem", and "Earth Emblem" have similar suggestive, i.e. O'Keefian, appearance. Of this Suzanne Muchin says that he was "Abstracting from nature and drawing from classical mythology, ... [in works] that held sensuous secrets in the crevices of textured volumes." (Muchnic, 13)
