Nicolas De Santis, Captain Euro, website superhero character, 1999- , promotional webpage comic storyline for concepts and ideas favorable to the European Parliament.

Accompanied by his sidekick Europa — an able and extremely attractive archaeologist/ linguist/professor of biotechnology and nanotechnology who can breathe under water and "aims to share her values with the rest of the world" — Captain Euro stands up to the evil wiles of Dr D. Vider — the "ruthless speculator" who would divide the European Union assunder for his own fiscal advantage. Captain Euro and Europa clearly stand for all that is good and worthy in the world of a unified Europe.
