In "The Kingdom of Flora" Poussin represents at least five myths involving metamorphosis into flowers:
Ajax : the purple hyacinth (Ov. Met. 13.390-98
Narcissus (and Echo) : the narcissus (Ov. Met. 3.500-509)
Clytie : the heliotrope, sunflower (Ov. Met. 4.267-70)
Hyacinthus : the hyacinth (Ov. Met. 10.209-19)
Adonis : the anemone (Ov. Met. 10.720-30)
Smilax and Crocus : bindweed (smilax aspera) and saffron (Ov. Met. 4.280, where Alicothoe chooses not to tell their story)
Flora is the metamorphosed persona of Chloris after she was raped by Zephyrus (Ov. Fast. 5.183-378)
