At 56 inches, this thing is taller than many BYU students. The altar in the center has Patroclus’ armor (the set he borrowed from Achilles). Achilles is on the left of the altar, holding a Trojan prisoner by her hair as he sacrifices her, a bride of death. Three other Trojan youths behind Achilles await the same fate. In the bottom panel, Achilles’ charioteer awaits the order to drag the corpse of Hector around the altar.
