Fully nude Andromeda anticipates the arrival of a canine-like Cetus while Perseus descends on a white Pegasus from heavens brandishing his sword.

Reid records w versions of a painting 1592-93 “derived from Goltzius’s engraving (1583), one at Rhode Island School of Design, Providence no. 57.147 and another at Ringling Museum, Sarasota, FL, no. SN108. She does not, though, mention this one.
