Sauroposeidon, "the lizard earthquake god", early cretaceous sauropod dinosaur named by M.J. Wedel and R.L. Cifelli (2005), "Sauroposeidon: Oklahoma's Native Giant" Oklahoma Geology Notes 65.2:38-57.

Partial Sauroposeidon skeletal remains have been discovered in Atoka County, OK, and in Wyoming and Texas.
