OGCMA s.v. "Danaids"

Joseph-Jules-Emmanuel Descomps, called Cormier (1869-1950), "La Danaïde (with Amphora)" (ca. 1926), terra cotta miniature culpture, 37 x 28 x 18 cm. A nude female figure is seated and holds an amphora in the crook of her right arm. Note conflict with description of Musée d'Orsay inv. no. 3187, arguably equivalent to Danaids2.0082_Descomps.
