Hymen.

The god of marriage, Hymen (Hymenaeus) was the son of Aphrodite (Venus) and Dionysus (Bacchus) or of Apollo and one of the Muses. Sometimes described as the personification of the wedding feast or as the leader of the nuptial chorus, he presided with his torch over the wedding of numerous mythological couples, including Perseus and Andromeda, Iphis and Ianthe, and Orpheus and Eurydice.
In the postclassical arts, Hymen is frequently associated with Eros (Cupid), god of love. Entertainments performed at wedding celebrations often invoke Hymen’s name in their titles, even if the god does not actually make an appearance.
